LALA Arts is a visually impaired led non profit organisation that puts access at the heart of the work. We work remotely across the UK and produce new writing, offer bespoke access training, consulting and creative access direction. All of which is facilitated by leading disabled artists across the UK.
LALA Arts seeks sector wide changes in approaching access led direction & providing development opportunities for disabled artists.
‘LALA Arts is an organisation founded upon creating fun, unapologetic and access led spaces, in short, we want to tell stories and we want them to be accessible.’

‘Theatre is my favourite art form. With a complete box of sensory tools at our disposal to tell stories in 3D, I envision a theatre experience that goes beyond visual perception, embracing sonic narratives, and tactile experiences.
My mission, is to build a practise which transforms theatrical projects into multi-layered experiences where accessibility integrates with visual experiences. ‘

‘If we want to actually make this cultural shift, it comes with looking at how we can integrate creative access in a way that reflects every story that we’re telling.’
